The vintage champagnes are created with the grapes from only one year harvest whereas traditional champagnes use a blend of wines from the latest harvest and reserve wines from previous years. 2017 was a difficult year in the vineyards but gave us beautiful wines.

50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot noir. Aged 3 years in our cellars
The vintage 2017 is very rare in Champagne as the harvest was quite difficult that year. However, tha small quantity of our pinots noirs grapes in Meurville (due to spring frosts) gave us beautiful aromatic wines. We paired them with our fresh chardonnays from Vert-Toulon to give a well balanced sugar and acidity ratio.
Tasting notes:
The Champagne millésime 2017 has fine and lively bubbles with a light golden colour.
The tasting is fresh with beautiful aromas of red fruits and brioche with added citrus fruits notes.
This vintage Champagne will be enjoyed as a relaxed drink with friends or for a celebration lunch, a birthday party or black tie dinner .
Awards:
As our vintage champagnes are created in very small quantities, we almost never present them to competitions. Our clients know their quality and they order them pretty fast, the stock never last long. Hopefully you will be able to enjoy our vintage Champagne 2017 too soon.
